Personally I find it very offensive that a member would use 911, a major terrorist incident, as the basis for a "comedic" caricature. Very poor taste.

It is offensive, insensitive and abhorrent. Especially if you have had relatives involved in the 911 tragedy.

OMG why does it matter what people did or didn't do in the past, or who did it - this shouldn't be about posters and their politics it's about the avatar itself as a single entity. I just hope, based on what was rightly or wrongly deemed as an inappropriate image in the past, that Ed reviews it tomorrow with the equal unbiased criteria that have been used in the past (eg if a swastika and a Robertson's golly is a no-no then neither is this).
Thank you TTT. I was referring to my son who by a quirk of fate had to work two blocks away on that day instead of being in the Twin Towers office. He survived but several of his colleagues and friends didn't. We had to go through several agonising hours not knowing how he was because all the lines of communication were blocked.
