Blue Privacy Bar

Hi Ed,

I have tried the "contact us" and an email.... but having been without the blue privacy bar for several months, it has now returned, but on the right hand side.

This was already changed to the left a couple of times by previous eds, because on a mobile device, it covers the "answer now" button. And while, you can scroll around it, it is quite inconvenient.

If we need it, can you please move it back to the left? It may not matter on PCs, but it does on a phone.

It feels like AB has passed on to new custodians and a lot of the old problem that have already been solved are being unsolved again.

Maybe so, but the recent site renovation, I thought, was to make it easier for mobile users, which are becoming more and more popular.
It definitely has made it better, but a blue bar over "answer now" or "search" seems to do the opposite.
I have sent a screenshot to show how it looks on a phone. So, just waiting and hoping... thanks, gromit x

I'm finding it a problem also...just in the past few days. The "accept cookies" notice pops up inconveniently and randomly too.

Pasta, it was corrected within minutes before. So, hopefully, can be now too x

The privacy one is still on my screen. I'm on a tablet so I can scroll up enough to avoid it...but it's an annoyance.

We are aware of the issue and currently in communication with Quantcast (the company who provides our cookie banner) as it is an issue at their end.

Hi, just to let you know we are trying to reach out to resolve this but are having trouble reaching the provider.

Gromit - AB has not been passed onto new custodians; the same ed and spare ed who originally fixed the problem are still the ones trying to rectify it now.
