Look at what we've done to the AB team coming into work: https://i.etsystatic.com/7001898/r/il/ec6b70/1886804641/il_794xN.1886804641_kacn.jpg

I don’t have FB or Twit or any of the others, and won’t have them.
And there was me thinking my vote didn't count :P
okay, I looked at the Pinterest page and now I can draw a koala. Now what?
Draw many koalas wearing gnome hats.
I had a look on FB when it was new, but not for a long time. I do have a twitter account but hardly ever bother with it unless it’s a link.
Like Naomi I have a twitter account that I have never posted on - yet I have a surprising number of individuals and organisations following me (why?). I also have a LinkedIn account that I never post on.
I see your posts on FB. They aren't going to achieve much because I am only following you because I am on AB.

If you want to increase footfall and earn more ££ you could run a competition or do a visible fundraising campaign for charity etc.

I know it's on fb but do look in. I do look on ABS company Accounts though!
Toorak, they may be following you for the following reasons; to try and steal information, to try and advertise in some way or another or they may be doing it in the hopes that you'll follow them back. They could just be trying to raise their stats too.
Togo @18:02...not on mine. I'm on a tablet.
I'd never think to look for AB on Pinterest.
Pinterest is visual...something AB isn't.
Thanks Diz - I know most of them (including the organisations which are work-related) but if any are looking for information to steal they will have a long wait :-)
That's one cute but serious kitty you have (your gravatar image). Are they a feisty cat?
Absolutely not - he is a very large and elderly soppy tom :-)
Looked at Answerbank on twitter a few times...you don't appear to ever get a response.
He's gorgeous Toorak. Was that pic taken when he was a kitten though, he looks very young?
No, LB it was taken about 5 or 6 years ago. He still looks very young even though he is 18 now.
There is an answer to Eds question then Past. The icons are hidden on the screen resolutions of tablets and mob. phones and not what we might call "eye-catching" on laptops and desktops. I still feel that we are looking in the wrong direction if the aim is to increase footfall. We who do use, and value, this site tend not to use faecesbook or twitsit, and the people who do, will not in the main use this site. We will not I feel increase site traffic unless we attract the older members of the interwebby who are looking for something less frantic and "showy" than the get down with the kids sites. The trick is ... where to reach them, and keep them. Crosswords and Quizzes have served the site well in the past and there must be something to maintain and keep the contact alive without being over facing to the casual enquirer.
Pasta not Past. Bleedin predictive. (it did it again as I tried to correct it)..:))
"We're a really friendly, and stunningly useful, UK-based Question and Answer site." Apart from when it isn't!
