Hi Ed and Team

With reference to the mention by a couple of Mods - is it possible for us to have a 'confirm' facility when closing threads?

This will avoid the current ease with which we can accidentally close threads when using a mobile phone screen.

Thanks.

Jim - I think we've got it now, shall we leave it there?
LOL! You just couldn't help yourself, could you!

Jim - This is pointless baiting - if you have to have the last word, since it seems to matter so much to you who does, then knock yourself out, but I am done wheel-spinning on your Mod baiting.
I'll look into it, thanks Andy-Hughes. It's been suggested that the button be moved to the left-hand side, which would also be ideal.

Thanks ABSE - I was sure I saw that the buttons had been moved, but I had just woken up, so I probably imagined it!

I am usually on my desktop, and it's not a problem, but I am abroad right now, using my mobile, so i can see how easily the 'Close' button gets hit by mistake.

Thanks for your attention on this.
