OK, it must be my browser then.
Thankfully the nagware for donations also seems to have stopped.
Try clearing your browser's cache, Canary42
The donation pop-up has returned.
I had a few days pop-up free, but it is back!
I've cleared cache etc to no avail.
This raises the question: does anyone care if the AnswerBank disappears?
No, not particularly BB
i think i would
Ads are unable to show on the website when AB User's are logged in. If you are not logged in then yes, Ads would show.
The nagging "donation" popup is now back with a vengeance. I make it every 90 seconds...
Re. the pop-up. This has been investigated and a response as been posted here: https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/AB-Editors-Blog/Question1846570.html
I am logged in and the donation pop-up is appearing on every page I visit.
Pete - The Donation pop-up is not the same as an Advert. The Adverts are served only to users who are not logged in. The pop-up should only display once in a given week and the mechanism behind this is data stored in a Cookie. Please follow the link above for more info.
I'm also logged in, otherwise I wouldn't be able to post! Not using any sort of blocker. Google Chrome on Windows 11.

I clear my cache on a daily basis. I also do the same with my Cookies as I regard them as an unwanted spy in my midst.

I do not believe the ubiquitous bullsht about "we use cookies to give you a better experience yada yada yada".

This example just shows how we are being bullied to accept them.

Back off Ab or I will flounce for good next time.
Please keep em, Ed.
Canary, if you are deleting the Cookies used by the Pop-up functionality daily then the Pop-ups would continue, unfortunately. It has been this way for many months now.
Ed, I have went into settings on my Lenovo Chromebook and "allowed all cookies".
So far, there no donation pop-ups.
Thank you for the advice!
Just Call in the Chief AB hacker he will sort it in no time. you all know his user name it begins with Tee
