Could anyone shed some light for me please?

I understand there has been some tweaking done on this site re e-mojis etc. I noticed yesterday that a link I tried to send jenny joan would not work as a C&P. I have just tried to C&P a link re a lost USAAF F35 jet fighter from a Yahoo News article and again I cannot past the link. Am I doing something wrong as a result of a new format maybe?

KEN, when posting text and a YouTube link in the new box, if the link followed text, the final word of the text would be deleted.

 

It the text followed the link, the first word of the text would be deleted.

I dont use a n iPad Margo   ...   but it may be worth trying my method if it is doable. In your case with a touch screen and screen keyboard it may be worth only copying the url after htpps:/www. and pasting it, and then inserting via your screen keyboard typing immediately before what you pasted of the url, the htpps://www. portion. There should be no spaces and that first bit is all lower case.

Togo thanks very much for trying to help. I was using an old iPad to access AB which would not let me post in the new box - the answer button remained pink. I'm now using a more up to date version and I can no longer use the copy and paste facility for some reason. I'm not terribly computer literate so I think the best thing I can do is wait for my son to have a look at the weekend . I do appreciate you trying to help which is more than any of the editorial team have 😢

Margo, try using Firefox on your iPad for Answerbank, it works fine on mine.  I can copy and paste and everything!
