  • I know it's not a suggestion but is anyone else having problems with My Profile and Threads etc as for WEEKS now I cannot get anything up at all. I've emailed techies and ABED and still nothing, so cannot keep track of certain posts cos I forget which category they are in. Any suggestions please!!!!!

no problems here, neti; perhaps bad weather off Barcelona is stopping profile updates getting through, while the carrier pigeons wait for more favourable winds.
I go straight to my profile and keep up with posts that way, which is a question of trawling through, as I haven't received any notification emails for ages - after a while you get to recognise how many answers you saw last time you trawled through so at least you don't have to keep going into the same thread, but still tiresome. Note to self: must get out more! Also, I entered my personal details (name, country of origin, dob etc) when I asked for trivia/newsletter (someone put up a post about this last week) - once you've entered them you can't go back in and remove them (or if you can I haven't found a way).
I go into my profile and then the thread I want and when I've caught up with the posts I write down the number of the last post (no pun intended) and then can pick up easily when I go back. Hope that makes sense....

....but jude I cannot get into" my profile" anymore, nothing happens and I forget which q's I'm interested in (apart from you know where -touches nose)
Oh I see Neti sorry.I don't understand it then. When I log on I get Welcome back Jude 123 then underneath my profile/sign out and I the just click on my profile. Sorry if I'm exasperating you.

Ahh so you get Welcome back Jude eh? and I don't -speaks volumns that obviously I am not welcome -creeps off to a dark corner so Ed doesn't that I'm here.
neti I stopped signing out in case I couldn't get back in haha - they're not going to keep me out. However they are still managing to keep me out of threads I'm involved in so now when I answer a Q I subscribe & use that list as a reminder. I asked my son what the message I get means & he said it's a site problem & not my computer.
