Dear All,

The AnswerBank will be down for an hour this afternoon at 3pm.

I suggest you spend an hour over at Gravatar.com signing up and picking yourself a nice Avatar.

Make sure:

1. Your AB email address is the same as your Gravatar Address
2. That you use a "Clean" Avatar
3. Activate your Avatar by visiting My profile and clicking through to "Edit user details" - there is a tick-box here to enable your Avatar.

There are other features, but I think we will let you figure them out by yourself.

Oh, and if something isn't working for you, try Ctrl-f5 first.

Please post criticism and issues in this thread please. We have done some testing, but we only had around 40 testers - so this is the real test for the new systems! Bear with us, I assume the first few minutes will be "rocky"!

I'll try again then... I have no checkbox on my profile to check. It says your avatar is not activ.
If I tab it shows where the box should be and if I ctrl & f5 it flashes up but i stillcan't actually check the box.
Please help as I benn waiting soooo long for these avatars

Click with he mouse where the tick box should be, it will work.

I kinda liked it not having any Avatars.
It made AB look very nice and tidy...

Now, people have strange avatars that look a wee-bit scruffy...

Does Gravatar come with a pic-editor?
Or do you have to use your own pic-editor?
