I think I've made it more than clear Ron that we do not comment on question and answers removed.

Have you read the rules? They can be found here: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Info/Rules/

A relevant point:
"Due to the high volume of posts, all editorial decisions are final, and discussion relating to the removal or editing of posts will not be entered into by the AB Editor."

What is the issue exactly? You seem to think you've posted something here other than the original post: http://www.theanswerb...g/Question925791.html You didn't.

Sorry SE if I am being a nuisance. I have in mind that I contributed to factor30's threadhttp://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/AB-Edito
rs-Blog/Question925731.html.
and informed him that I now understood what he had done and that it could be of assistance to you.

Best wishes......Ron.

Dear SE....I do not anticipate your commenting any further on this matter; despite my view that there have been some 'strange goings-on'.

Nevertheless, ( my using current vernacular) I request your 'taking on board' my most recent posting to a respected member of AB.

Hi jno...I don't really have in mind that the Ed should personally reply to us. However I would not think that it is beyond modern technology for the person who actually removes an answer to hit a few buttons to publish a reason in the columns of AB. eg:-

vivandorron...answer removed....Offensive.

Itsnotme........answer removed... Libellous.

jno............... answer removed....Too informative.

Incidentally, from where do you get all your info......"600,000 removed every week."

Hope you are not on AB's staff and keeping a close eye on me. :-)

I conclude , quite seriously and hopefully humorously, by saying:-

"I wish to avoid being listed as a trouble maker and do not want to upset anyone: at the risk of being sent to a Gnome".

Kind regards........Ron.
I've read a few of your posts now and have come to the conclusion that you've escaped from the pages of a Tolkien novel. Is your other user name Tom Bombadil?
Question Author
It's a thought yinyang....Perhaps I should re-register with AB as Bombadil.
.....Snag is that he was married to Goldberry and I don't think my wife Vivien would approve of me being linked to another woman.

Ron.
I'm sure your wife wouldn't mind being the lovely Goldberry.

From now on you shall be known as 'tomandorgold' - now that sounds very Tolkienesque!
Question Author
yinyang......Call me whatever you like......but please do not call me. ..too early in the morning. :-)

Best wishes.....Tomandorgold
You do seem somewhat obsessed by Site Rules. Why not just sit back and enjoy the ride?
Question Author
I like to play within the rules; but I don't want to be 'taken for a ride'.
