Hi Ed.
At the moment there is a lot of concern about a supposed virus which has hit AB.
In view therefore of the number of threads which are being woven on this matter in different sections of AB., you may wish now to consider my suggestion of your issuing an official statement as a starter to your own Thread.
I am aware that you did try to put members at ease in the following :-

However , I feel sure there are a lot of ABers who didn't read your advice which was posted in the 'Technology Section.'
Best wishes .....Ron.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Chris, the thing is, at first when it started showing errors, someone posted the Google report, which showed there were 0 errors. At that stage I (on Firefox) wasn't getting the attack-page warnings.
I started getting the warnings this afternoon and still have them. The Google report now shows that there are problems after all.
I don't really know what to make of all this but it is a pain. I have to click to disregard the warning for every page I view and every answer I post.

Does the ED think that only the technicologions need the info which he has posted in:-
http://www.theanswerb...y/Question938327.html
Why not in his own blog. which is likely to be viewed by more members than a posting in a single section.
Surely it is not beyond his Techies to enable his postings to be in all sections of AB.
Regardless!! Ron
