Ed, it's been really really annoying on AB today

That's not entirely true dotty. I've gone on other sites where you can look in...but some parts may be closed-such as a chat facility.

I had a look at that site too but it was much too quiet for me and, as you say, mostly American. Too many emoticons as well, very distracting.

I am only guessing that most of today's problems have been on CB...A section which I deliberately avoid; because of its bad reputation.

Maybe the Ed will close CB, as before?

The difficulty is that then the "chat" would spill into B&S like it did before. This is a Q and A site, which has a chat element. Perhaps there ought to be a "chat forum" to keep the other topics "clean" and trolls away.

Wasn't there a change of Ed's a couple of years ago? New staff brought in. I think it was before the current Ed that CB was removed and everybody was posting in B&S.

To me it doesn't make a difference whether posts are in CB or not - I always use Latest Posts to see what's going on and that's how I saw all the posts today - I only trawl the Topics if there is not much going on. What do other people do?
