I am from England, however, do not live in any of the home countries. Also retired, living on a tiny pension. yet still think as middle class!!!!! Obviously really mixed up.

Ed. Please consider carefully the many good reasons for combining Q&P with Crosswords. As things stand, most crossword comments and queries appear in Q&P, so serious cruciverbalists get tired of constantly flipping from one to the other.

At least, can we have a note on Q&P that this is not the place for crossword queries?

I must learn to be more respectful in future. I hadn't realised I was in such exalted company. I wonder though, if all the middle clas members really are middle class, seems like an inordinately large percentage to me.
