Thanks and poetry

It has been a while! Unfortunately, I have not been down the hatch with the Lost crew as was mentioned in AB Suggestions. Although we have been undergoing a great many changes behind the scenes here at the ole AB. I wouldn�t be surprised, actually, if a polar bear did walk into AB HQ.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have posted in AB Suggestions or emailed me with suggestions on how to improve the site. We do take all your comments on board and hope to address some long standing issues in the next couple months. In the meantime, you may have noticed that AB time is now in keeping with �real world� time and that "Jobs and Careers" is now "Jobs and Education".

It was mentioned in AB Suggestions that the AB risked being �dumbed� down by not so serious questions or threads that appear primarily over the evenings and weekends, when a human moderator is not present. Unfortunately, we cannot keep people from posting drunk messages in the wee hours, and we thank you for duly reporting them and the more banal ones are removed in the morning by the moderator. As always, if you notice a user spamming or �impostering� another user, please report them and they will be removed from the site.

In last night�s batch of removed threads, among the flirty posts was, of all things � poetry. Most are no longer on the site, but kudos to ABer voiceofcalm for his creativity!
