I really like her version of 'Driving Home for Christmas' from the Iceland advert. Has she made it her own or does that version already exist and if so, by who?

Sorry, what I meant was she sings it differently from the usual versions I've heard. For example, Elton John's 'Your Song' had a different version by Ellie Goulding and the usual 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' has a version by Israel which has since been adopted by different people. Maybe she's singing it slower than Chris Rea but I think she sounds good.

The party food always looks quite nice. The price seems a bit cheap so is it a case of looking good but tasting awful?

I too love this ad - it's sooooo Christmassy! She sings it really well and scrummy Iceland food is OK. We like it in my family.

I don't like that version of the song - I think the difference is that this one has only a piano accompaniment, and it drags a bit (IMO). I like the original much better, much more upbeat!

its recorded specifically for the iceland ads so unlikely to be a single.

personally i prefer the original but each to their own. i wouldn't be so pretentious as to judge people on the shops they choose to frequent.
