In geneal coversation my good friend and neighbour said he could remember an advert in his childhood (which puts it around the 1950's) but he can't remember what the ad was for .... anyone got a clue?

I think it might have been for a floor cleaner. Can see the bottle in my mind's eye but can't remember the name. It was an opaque very light blue liquid polish that you squirted onto your lino then wiped off with a mop, leaving it to dry. It made a tacky clacky surface rather like spilling milkshake and leaving it to dry. Magi-something? White plastic squeezy bottle with black label, red nozzle?
