i don't know what the adverts for but the song goes something like "got no mind got no soul" and i think it could be nina simone anyone help

I think you'll find it was I ain't Got No - I got Life by Nina Simone.

I think the advert you're thinking of is for Muller (rice?)
and it's definately Ain't Got No (I Got Life) by Nina Simone
