That bloke warbling on la la la ing all over the place on the Butlins ad. I will never go there even if I wanted to because of that awful cheesy advert.

The Butlins advert is obviously working well as you remember it.

The main point of any advert is that you remember it.

You say you wont go there, but probably many will as they will remember the advert.

There are so many products nowadays that adverts like Go Compare are deliberately "bad" so you remember them.
Go Compare ads make me laugh - but I hate the 118 118 ads with those stupid men in shorts.
The new Compare The Market ad with Robert Webb. It's about as funny as Cholera, and so is he (In the ad)! I HAVE to turn it off.
dfs furniture..
The Butlins ad people are trying to trigger a feeling of nostalgia in viewers in the hope that they will remember when Butlins was really cheap and naff rather than hiw it is now, which is expensive and naff.

I don't watch much telly but when I do I get very annoyed by any advert that has some tuneless woman doing a cover version of a decent song as the backing track.
Is this it daffy?

My worse ad is that irritating kid in the Sun advert.
The one where Louis Spence is mincing around on screen
BT, Virgin, and any of the bingo websites.
oh and the 'you're so moneysupermaket'
Louie Spence - uggggghhhhhhh!
Not annoying, but cringingly embarrassing are the Grant's Whisky ads sponsoring re-runs of "Cheers" on ITV4. A beige family in a beige living room playing charades - a "party", of the sort we've all been to, and spend the rest of our lives avoiding. I can't imagine how or why anyone could think it was worth screening. Are these really the sort of people that would drink Grant's? Then count me out! (Incidentally, there's no drink to be seen during the screenplay!).
