Yes the comments on the clips don't mention the song name.
I thought if we could establish which ad it was someone might recognise it or may be able to use Shazam on it

Ta for the Coldplay no FF and the Asobi Seksu - or summat like that - was the 2012 ad, the one in your first link. But just to double check it, I'll go on youtube and see if it will play the whole song, which is "Thursday".
