In the beginning, Mr Mop Top leased a room or rooms his flat to Bruv and Sis. No sex please we are all UK citizens.

Desirous of sex Sis and Bruv got Mop Top hooked up with Skinny Girl. Mop Top and Skinny Girl live her place?

Now new Fat Neighbour hangs around at Mop Top's. But who's sex thing is he? Sis later vanishes (been eaten?).

Skinny Girl lives in Fat Bloke's spare room while Mop Top, Fat Bloke, and Bruv sit and watch TV together for days. Soon as Fat Bloke leaves he is replaced by Skinny Girl. Bruv unmoved.

Why is this such a puzzle?

Must finish my box set of the Cube now.

This reads like some kind of narcotic-induced dream sequence.

Its an advert!

The original characters were flat owner and 2 students - the male student was the link to the previous campaign.

Neighbour was introduced to advertise fibre - as they had it, he didn't.

Can't remember why flat owner met girlfriend.

I'm just surprised that people take this much notice of ads...we mute them and do something useful!

I didnt think it was a sex thing

mop top cant get a girl fren' because he is a jerk
but still has frenz because he has ..... infinity instead

( I spent my uni time as a mop top -in fact one of my nicknames besides jerk and punk and qu++r was 'the mop' )
well at least you read it Mosaic
and didnt comment whaaaa ?

it is the plot of the latest BT advert - quite well expressed actually

and it is like the coffee adverts - it tells a story as the adverts roll out

it is just that three fellas spending 48 h under their own duvets watching tel isnt really a sex thing
Expressed well only if you knew what was being referred to, if you'd not seen the ad, or IMO even if you had, it doesn't express it particularly well. Especially since they have all been given non standard names and relationships and such. I elected not to reply when there were none so far simply because "whaaaa ?" was the most appropriate reaction. A descriptive style too far for me.
The point of the ad is to get us to discuss it
and wonder wha.... will happen next

BT must be whooping ......
:-)
Personally I don't care what happens next.
(Didn't when there was a running coffee ad either.)
Doesn't change my mind regarding the company.
I can see you always look on the bright side of life OG
its only being so happy that keeps you going, would you say ?
I changed from BT many years ago, These ads certainly wouldn't make me want to switch back.
Can I have some of what their 'creative' are on......?
I stay with BT and pay the premium to avoid the inevitable run around when there is a fault of
oo we dont do that.... from every party involved

Oh my days! What a thing to say!

Thank betsy I did not ask about the religious images within the Kingsmill Thick Slice Bread advert and the meaning of the trans-substantiation as seen by Christian apologists.
