i'm still seeing their adverts
They are closing some of their shops, my local one is going, so i expect the cost of advertising may be an issue.
There were Morrisons ads in the papers this morning....
There's been a whole raft of Easter ads. Including one for a joint that they claim is beef, that poor beast was seriously anaemic!
If you're referring to TV advertising, showing a 30 second ad at peak viewing times can cost £200,000:

Given that advertisers will want their ads to be seen many times, and they'll have production costs on top of the broadcast fees, a major TV advertising campaign will cost many millions of pounds.

Morrison's are desperately trying to save money at the moment, which is why they've sold off all of their 'Local' convenience stores and they're closing several of their big supermarkets. (The one up the road from me closes down in 2½ weeks time).

So it's unsurprising if they're currently cutting back on their advertising budget.

However they've still got enough money for this one which, even with the very small amount of time I watch TV, I've seen loads of times!

Ant & Dec weren't free due to other obligations!!!
^^^ I think that we can safely assume that Grannie39 is no great fan of Ant & Dec ;-)

Don't they have lovely lives in adverts?

Would mine were the same. :-(
They got planning permission and started the foundations in Newmarket last year, but its been cancelled and apparently Liddel/Lidel have taken over.
or even Lidl?
Follow my motto 'Don't buy anything that's advertised!'
If they have to advertise , it just can't be that good. The best stuff sells by word of mouth!
But not necessarily in the same quantities.
Coincidence but I've just been to the shop and seen a Morrison's van. I don't think I've seen one before.
Removals ?
i've just had an email from them advertising easter specials...
Just to say that after seeing this post, I've lost count of the amount of ads for them I have seen.
Morrisons do advertise, this is their latest advert for Easter - http://www.sounds-familiar.info/2016/03/morrisons-makeeaster/
