Who does the music on the O2 adverts, you know, the music which is all tinkly and sounds like a fairytale? Sorry if I'm a bit vague. Oh, and they use it on the switchboard when you try to call them and you wait for ages, and it goes 'tinkle tinkle la la la'. (What?!) Cheers!
Hi I know the music you're talking about but it seems to be a bit of a mystery. It is available for download as a ringtone called planets on their site (http://downloads.o2.co.uk/o2web/o2_advert1_p.html?1353916007:) but it seems like it has been composed especially for o2.
I wondered the same thing..it does seem as though it was written specifically for o2. However, try listening to "The Man Machine" (last track on the album of the same name) by Kraftwerk..the o2 theme bears a striking resemblance to the main riff on this track!
Yeah, you're right! Krafterk + Leftfield's 'Melt', with a little sprinkling of a Danny Elfman score. Cheers for your help. I may just cut and shut these three elements myself and be done with it...
If you mean the ad where the bubbles burst out from the centre (in a saturns rings type way) just as the music breaks then its Jackson and His Computer Band - Orbit
I KNOW WHO IT IS. i'd know that track anywhere.
It's called 'Walk A Mile In My Shoes' and it is by an Electronica band called Coldcut. Check them out the whole album Sound Mirrors does not disappoint!
the most recent o2 ad is 'cosmic love' by florence and the machine and the one before that was 'stay just a little bit more' by Thedo
hope this helped!
:D
