Rip-off scratch cards
2 Answers
Does anyone know the full scoop behind those 'pirate's treasure' rip-off scratch cards that flutter out of magazines like Bizarre. I know that most idiot punters (like me, once) get 'vouchers' for holidays. Does anyone ever get the BMW Z3 - or is it just a total scam ?

So the companys get half that, (50p per minute) every time someone phones, they usually last 3mins plus. I think people do win the big prizes but the scratch cards are all run by the same firms and so one car is given away under a lot of differently named scratch cards.
