A man puts his house up for sale with HouseSimple and tells his neighbour Derek about it. It gets sold that quickly that by the time Derek turns round it's been bought by an old couple who continue to tell him about the great deals from HouseSimple. Derek then sells his house that quickly that by the time the old man stops talking he's sold it to someone else who doesn't know that his house used to belong to Derek and therefore asks "Who's Derek?"
so Derek is and old fashioned name yes when i was at school there were 5 Dereks in a total of 65 pupils (small primary school) i can tell you the name became synonymous with buffoonery when coronation street created Derek Wilton it always without fail cause a snigger when i had to tell people my name after that time.and weirdly enough my brother and sister had old fashioned names to, Barbara and Roland
