BBC digital TV Advert

Is there anyone else that finds the new TV ad (one face made up of many faces) really stomach churning? I'm seriously thinking of making a complaint but I thought I'd get some other opinions first.

i find it very creepy, and yuck, but not enough to complain!

Err no? But why complain? Why not switch over or turn off?

I don't find it stomach churning, the first time I saw it I thought it was a really clever ad, very well done. I think little kids might find the faces a little creepy, but there's nothing wrong with it.

It's vile. In our family of our it evokes varied negative responses. Furthermore the dog snaps at the screen when the ad is. Write and complain! We did - to the BBC - but have had no acknowledgement. Perhaps we should have written to the ITC? Is that the regulatory body for ads on the other channels?

Why complain to the ITC? What is actually offensive about it? They're just faces...

Closing your eyes for the minute or so that its on should do the trick surely?

I thought exactly the same, it really creeps me out! Reminds me of bad dreams when I was a kid!

I have only seen it once and I really hated it .Creeped me out! I wouldn't complain about it though. Thought it was just me being weird.I shall just look the other way if it comes on again.

Yeah, its quite scary, but not worth a complaint - But I really want to know what the music in this advert is, sounds like spiritualized, any ideas?

I found it very scary and distrubing! My body has been very itchy since then. There is another similar poster of eyes- mostly around Walthamstow! it's very scary! I have complained to www.asa.org.uk (Ardervitsing Standards Authority) have received a response already. I think the advert is just not serving the purpose: that is is the purpose is merely advertising, unless they have a dden agenda
