I am trying to find a copy of the advert for a brand of cassette tapes from the 80's where they used the bob dylan style cue cards with the wrong lyrics with hilarious consequences. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Can't help with getting a copy of it, but it may help you to know that it was (almost certainly) for Maxell.
Oh yeah! The song was Desmond Decker's "Me'Israelites", or as the cue card put it, "Me Ears Are Alight"! Can't remember the brand though... TDK? Memorex?
Ah, Maxell. That rings a bell.
I get up in the morning sleeping for bread sir so that every monk can be red oh oh me ears are alight .....something something....oh darling i was yards to greasy oh oh me ears are alight (sorry can't remember the rest)

thank you very much with that I am really impressed someone even remembers the lyrics, I couldn't even remember the brand. If I find a copy of it online I'll post a link! cheers!
There was also a punky/new wave type song in one of the ads but I can't remember what it was. Anyone?
