What's that music from a very old british gas advert? dunno where else to look!

hi all, i've been looking everywhere for this tune but cnt find it. i dunno if its classical but has violins etc in it. it was in a british gas advert a very long time ago, since bout 1990 i think at the earliest. has a flame zooming along a line or something and i think it might have been remixed into a song because i recently heard it at the end of the final episode of T4's Rock School. so i'm really not sure where to start except british gas but cant find it on the net anywhere! it starts with some violin riff or somethin...? any ideas? please answer asap. would greatly asppreciate it!
