Hi Angelzopo,


Its called 'Do Wah Diddy Diddy' - its sung by a group of children in the ad but the original was recorded by the US group - 'The Exciters'.


The most famous version of the song however was recorded by the British group, Manfred Mann (named after their keyboard player). It was both a UK and a US number 1 hit in the mid-60s and features on many compilation albums of that era.

Whoops, sorry I may have mistakenly answered your question because that's the George Clothes by Asda ad I'm thinking of. I haven't seen a George Home one yet


I'll keep an eye out for it and then try to come back with the correct answer !

Yes this song is a 70'* *** called "Magic" originally by Pilot. The version in the ad is by children from Shana Goldman's Stage School & Agency and as far as I know is not released.
