Does anyone know the track used on the vauxhall "surfing" car ad? It sounds a bit like "skiffle" or lonnie donigan style.

Yes you're in the right area - its 'Rock Island Line' by Lonnie Donegan.

So that's a song singing the praises of a railway, being used to sell cars. They didn't think that through very well, did they?
