Drink/Driving promo ad

I know it's me, but can anyone explain to me (preferably using monosyllabic words) the meaning of the recent promo ad about drink-driving? The meaning's obvious, but I don't understand the actions of those involved.

Which one? Surely it's not a promotional ad for drink driving? It must be a public awareness campaign?

I'm guessing you mean the one where the guys are in the pub, and encouraging their friend to give the gfierl across the bar 'the eye', and suddenly it all goes horible?

Basically, the visual image shows that because he's drinking, the accident, and death of a stranger can really happen so fast, he'll be unaware until it is too late - because he's over the limit. One minute he is in control, the next, the girl is dead, he has nothing more than a cut face, and the realisation of what he has caused to happen.

If it's not that one, please re-post with a description of the action in the ad. you mean.

They go through the motions of being involved in a car accident, though they're still sitting in the pub. The girl gets her face smashed on the table and is then thrown against the bar, simulating the injuries she'd get in a crash, and is killed.
