Daniel Hechter on Radio
I listen to Talksport in the afternoon and have to put up with some truly awful adverts.
One is a robotic voice promising all manner of retribution if you havent paid your car tax
However the cream is an advert for Daniel Hechter ( who he ? ) It involves a mild version of sexual harassment wherein the female Manager purrs sweet nothings at a male subordinate. There is the promise of a "reward" from the Lady Manager.
It could work if done ironically but it is all done in anudge-nudge way with the added treat of the product name being BOOMED out in a lead-lined Delivery.
" I only wear DANIEL HECHTER shirts . DANIEL HECHTER shirts are available at leading stockists...."
Is this on any other stations or is it just Talksport listeners who have to suffer?

They sound like some cheesy adverts from the 1970s.
The way the woman at the end says "Shall I thank YOU or Daniel Hechter".
(In fact it tells you to go to the web site but I have no idea how you spell the name. Maybe they need a www.dh.com so you only need to put in the initial letters.)
