Old old Guiness advert

I am trying to remeber the name of a guy that i think used to be in guiness adverts and then in some films. He was blonde and i think scandinavian and had a name being with H? Its a real dim memory thats really bugging me probably from the 80's. Anybody have any idea who i am referring to? Thanks

I think you mean the actor Rutger Hauer. He's Dutch rather than Scandinavian. This is him:
