the song "if i knew you were coming i'd have baked a cake" was written by bob merrill, al hoffman and clem watts. the hit version was recorded by eileen barton in 1950, though there are other versions.

As one half of the creative team who developed this ad I can confirm it is "If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake" by Gracie Fields. Glad you liked the song! A little classic.
