Music in Happy Days weekend trailer

I really hope someone can answer this as it's driving me mad!
There's been a trailer on channel Five over the past few days for a forthcoming Happy Days day, or weekend, when they're going to be showing lots of old Happy Days episodes. During the trailer, they've been playing in the background a very un-happy, mournful song. I know I've heard it before, and I won't rest until I found out where! I think (but am not sure) it was used in the soundtrack of some gritty British drama (such as The Lakes a few years ago?)

If anyone knows the answer to this, please put me out of my misery! Thankyou!
