BT Advert

a few months ago there was a bt advert where the man (nick from my family) was looking on the net for jokes for a best man speech. he then sed a joke at the wedding about someone sleeping with someone in another country (or something like that) and no one laughed. so was there something i missed or was it just not meant to be funny and the viewers were not supposed to understand the joke?? someone please enlighten me!!

This has been answered a few times and the general opinon was that off screen he was incorporating a slideshow (you hear clicking etc) and when he says the punchline he clicks and no-one laughs as the image he shows is truly awful or not for family viewing - only he thinks it's funny.
