why do my copies of dvds play on one player but not another

There are a number of reasons that this could happen.
One you must 'finalise' the disk before you can play it on other players.
Even doing this does not mean that your disks will play on other players if there is a compatability problem between the disks & players.

some DVD players depending on brand don't play copyed DVDs or CD's because it is trying to promote the idea of buying �20 dvd's whens theres no point!

i have the same problem, the expensive DVD player won't play copys but the �18.99 one does!
