Prize at the moment must go to that pizza one where the old Italian guy is looking for a new nephew. Makes me cringe. Does anyone think it's funny? How could so much thought and money go into making such dross?

I really like that ad - cracks me up everytime. The one I hate at the moment is the clapping-hands 'why are you waiting' ad for HSA something or the other - the most cringeworthy thing about it is that it's not even trying to be silly!
I've not seen that one properly so I'll keep a watch out. The ad I absolutely loathe at the moment is the one for the Yop yoghurt drink, with all those half-saleep people 'singing' with huge mouths, and that silly woman at the end! Makes me want to kick the TV in!! But yes, people are PAID to come up with this drivel! God save us!
Anything starring or voiced by the ghastly James Nesbitt.
Not as annoying as anything involving manic smiling housewives singing the virtues of breakfast cereals with their shiny happy brats!
I think the Vauxhall ad with the two little boys out having a chat on the driveway is brilliant ! Couldn't agree more about James Nesbitt - hate him !!!!!!!

Just goes to show how different we all are!
i think you'll find that the most annoying advert ever award goes to 118118 - anyone else disagree ? funniest ad goes to the peugeout 206 ad the one the elephant sits on the car and he smaskes it to peices so it looks like a 206 and the music to that wins best music in my mind too.
yes, I find it desperately unfunny. Especially the 'gag' at the end: 'He'll settle for a niece'. Pathetic!
I think the Yop advert is great, I can't stop singing that tune! The most annoying advert must be the one for e-sure with michael winner on. I cringe when they all say, HELLO MUM, I"M ON THE TELE!
Would definitely agree with the whole Michael Winner thing, but also (and I think this is a love-it-or-hate-it advert) the Halifax/Bank of Scotland "We are sailing" ad really makes me cringe. But then, my dad loves it.
Well I reckon the winner of the most annoying kid in an advert has GOT to be the blonde haired cringe making child in the nit mousse advert. Everytime she says "I never make a fuss" I want to poke her in the eye. I just love kids.
Anna Friel get off my TV why are you taking about breadsticks talking to each other! Aaaaaaagh!

I know what you mean PurplePixie - and I would also poke the eyes of the red haired girl in the white cranberry juice ad. Trying far too hard for cuteness.
The most annoying advert by far is the Injury Lawyers for you, the one that is set in the court room, and the blonde women is asking questions like "Will I Get 100% of the compensation".It thoroughly annoys me how she uses her futuristic laptop type piece of equipment too. I hate this advert and i wish i could sue the creator of it. Am i right in saying that everyone here finds this advert painfully annoying?
no way it's HSA so stupid it's F*****G S**T why are you waiting is so old i remember that from when i was a kid

I love the yop ad ,the tune is just great. the crapiest ad so far has to be e-sure "hello mum i am on th eTele" gives me the creeps. and the one where they all sing "we are saving" with such pride,i wanna shoot the dude who made that uncool ad.
How about the "Quote Me Happy" ads. How can anyone get excited paying extortionate insurance premiums?
I think it's safe to say that all ads on T.V are incredibly annoying apart from maybe the John Smiths adverts.
Totally agree that the "Quote Me Happy" adverts from Norwich Union are a bunch of old rubbish, especially as their customer service has to be one of the worst around! AND breadsticks talking to breadsticks, frogs into actresses, shoes - how patronizing can one advertising campaign be? So pretentious that it doesn't even explain the product well so you're as confused before you saw the advert as after, which defeats the whole object of advertising if you ask me. And on the subject of James Nesbitt, doesn't anyone like the Yellow Pages advert - especially the haircut one, I really find that quite funny! But like someone said, how different we all are.
