The one with the Hollywood drug addict (Robert Downey). What on earth is that all about?

Volvo are obviously trying to change their image from the "flat-cap wearing caravan towers" of old. This ad is a follow-on from the previous (spoof) documentry for the new S40.
Bit harsh describing it as the one with the hollywood drug addict. The advert says "takes you to confidence", so it's building on volvo's image of safety, but also a bit of prestige etc. Again trying to be different and get away from the car's traditional image problem of being boring and sensible. Looks like it is an american advert, so might be more effective in the US.
