channel 4 adverts

the adverts which keep appearing on channel for inbetween differen programmes with famous people talking about their favourite things and stuff. What are they for???????

I don't think they're FOR anything in particular, it's just a way of letting the viewer feel that celebrities are just like them or something...I'm just rambling, but i think they're good

It's advertising channel 4, saying "look at all the celebrities from popular programmes we have on our channel". It's fun and light hearted and an excellent way for the channel to build its image.
