Does anyone know where it was filmed? It looks like Barnstaple, near the Green Lanes shopping centre, but Mrs ClarionSt says it's somewhere in Cornwall. It's probably somewhere miles away! Thanks.

It's about 1000 miles away!

Apparently the location used was Main Street, Gibraltar.

View the ad here and compare it to these pictures (1 & 2) of the aforementioned street.

Take particular note of the block paved road and style of lamppost.

that's wierd as I thought it was in Barnstable too. I went to Gibralter in March and I dont think that looks anything like the main street, it's a bit wider!!!!

If it was main St Gibraltar, why would there be a bus from Southern England, and do the taxi's in Gib have U.K numberplates?

it is filmed in gibraltar i am from there. It is a local tour bus, and not an English one. The cab is a local's, but with a British plate tacked on. The shop on the right is Sport City, the Jyske Bank has been covered with a banner, and the girls walking across the screen (one of them being my cousin) are students at St Anne's school. The bus is going the wrong way down the street though, towards Casemates.
