Why are the the toys advertised on tv so expensive? Not everyone can afford these prices especially those with more than one child.

i agree hexy...and the worst iv it is the kids watch the tele n see the ad then want it...thats the idea i guess! i have just 1 child...3 years old and has asked for that fisher price digital camera that has been advertised had no idea wat t get her so i baught her it...�60!"! for a kids camera!!!

sorry, i dont think it's the kids fault - it's the parents. if you are so weak that you bow down to pressure from your kids to buy them something you can't afford then more fool you, the kids wil never learn the value of hearing "no" or the value of money. do you honestly expect manufacturers of stuff to lower the prices because your kids might nag you to buy them it? Its like saying "why is food so expensive?, not everyone can afford chocolate biscuits" things are the price they are, so teach your kids some manners and dont be dictated to by them!

Was in Argos today and nearly everything there is reduced! So dont always go by the RRP. ;)
