Can anyone remember adverts for Grenville Ice Pops? Probably in the 70's they went " Grenville Ice Pops/Do-doo-do-do-doo-doo/Top of the Pops/Do-doo-doo-doo" . However I think the next line is " Ten Ice Lollies for ten new pence " - can anyone confirm this? Plus was this purely a Midlands phenomenon or nationwide? HISTORICAL NOTE - Ice Pops were 4 inch long frozen sticks of Sugar Water, full of stuff which made you act like you were on speed!

I certainly don't recall seeing Grenville Ice Pops down South, so perhaps they were a Midlands product only
"Ten ice lollies for ten new pence, Freeze em back home in your fridge." Don't know where else they were found, but they certainly managed to offend the Mancunian palette. Wasn't it "Glenville" rather than "Grenville"?
