I just cannot place him, but who is the guy in this ad?? The paparazzi are snapping at him and he takes off his jacket and shirt on reaching his hotel room.

Dunno who the guy is, and mildly surprised that no one has asked what the music is!

It's called Generique by Miles Davis and it's from the soundtrack of the Louis Malle film L'ascenseur pour l'eschafaud (Lift to the scaffold)
