who was the singer who sang TRUE COLOURS in a tv advert for a film processing company. I think it may have been kodak around 2 years ago

These are done by session singers, and are almost never commercially available to buy. If you want the song, it was recorded by Cindi Lauper, and was a hit for her in 1986. The American spelling is used - 'colors', and you can find it on the 'True Colors' album, as well as on the 'Twelve Deadly Cyns' and 'Greatest Hits' compilation albums.
