I agree about the cheaper gas instead. I have had bulbs of the gas and leccy, but the irony is I replaced all my bulbs for low energy ones last year when they were on a bogof offer in Morrisons. I now have loads of spare bulbs, and considering they last ages, they'll probably still be there when I'm not.
Can't understand why the postman left a note though - Given the amount there are we are allowed to doorstep/hide them at our office.

I know Postdog, most annoying - my usually Postie was on hols and I know he would have left them .... still would rather not have them though ... bl**dy things are just taking up space in a drawer now as I , like you, replaced all mine 12 months ago ..... plus some neighbours gave me the ones a charity gave them, so now I have 8 spares, plus some pares I had already bought .... enough to light up Blackpool Illuminations ....... and still my gas is a fortune .... a free woolly jumper would have gone down better so I could save on the heating !!!!
