Has anyone seen this advert with the japanese cowbows and the giant squid dancing? I have seen it a few times, what the heck is it about?

OH COME ON YOU LOT WORK IT OUT IT'S A MOBILE PHONE AD YES THE DRINK GIVEN TO THE JELLY FISH IS RELATED TO FRESH IDEAS. JELLY FISH HAS MANY TENTACLES THUS RELATING TO MANY CONNECTIONS IE. THE PHONE IS MORE THAN JUST A PHONE MP3 MUSIC ETC ETC,THAT'S WHY THEY ARE DANCING TO THAT COOL TRACK BY LO FIDELITY ALL STARS I HOPE THIS HELPS CLARIFY IT A BIT MORE FOR YOU.

It is my opinion that the point of the advert is for you to look at it and wonder 'WTF?!'. It attracts your attention by being weird, and adverts are supposed to attract your attention. I'm guessing they did a pretty good job.
