could it be Without You by El Presidente, i know they have used this song before for their ads don't know if it was used for the one you mention

Thanks DawnDevil, but it isn't that one. I know that track. This one sounds a bit like Ceilidh music and the video shows a fisherman repairing a net, a guy weightlifting that has a tattoo of a lion rampant etc and ends with the tag line 'Scotland, Edge of the Land , sponsored by the Daily Record'
