Because it's rather good and I would like to download it.

Before you criticise my taste in music, I should that I own Tragedy by Steps and Barbie Girl by Aqua.

Close To You by comparison is a major step up.

What a terrible rendition of a great song. Have you heard The Carpenters version......no comparison

Been to Meadow's website and Myspace and there's no reference to them doing this version. Loved their own music though. It says they're doing an album, maybe it'll be on that.
Either way whoever has done this version I have to disagree with you I'm afraid Al. I think they've given a very cheesy song some beauty and melancholy it didn't have before. Love it!

I thought it was Sting cos of the northern accent, but Jimmy Nail seems like a good guess
