Crumpsall is a district of Manchester where the Biscuit factory was.

The ceramic mural, on the side of a building at the junction of Parkhill Avenue and Delaunays Road, incorporates images from Crumpsall past and present. These include the River Irk, the former CWS biscuit factory (the first factory built by the Co-operative Society), the coat of arms of the former workhouse building which now forms part of North Manchester General Hospital, banner-carrying marchers symbolising the area's diverse population, and the Pennine Hills which can be seen from the area on a clear day.
