Dont ask me why BUT ever since I can remember I have a THING ABOUT ADVERTS on telly. I am 62 years old & I can remember lots of jingles (& THE WORDS !) from way-back to Black & White T.V Days ! I Are there any other persons out there who cant help themselves with this advert addiction ?

If you're 62 (like me) youll remember the famous advert from 1976/7 for St Bruno pipe tobacco starring a glamorous blonde from Wales? Ads on the box, billboards all over the country, it took me AGES to find out the name of the actress but, at last, I got the answer some months ago. It was Sulina Judd who went on to marry a rich member of the French Piat D'Or wine family. What a girl! Rememeber her?

I thought it was Sandra Dickinson in the St Bruno ads

Sandra Dickinson famously started her acting career in Britain by appearing in the St. Bruno ads, as she revealed in Radio Times only the other week. However, I don't think she was the only St Bruno girl.

You're quite right, Elvis, Sandra did do St Bruno ads but in the early 70s. I'm talking about the much higher profile campaign in 1976 or 1977 with Sulina Judd. It's a great pity that despite YouTube having so many adverts on display, the Judd ads are, so far, not there. She had to sign an odd contract whereby, during the ad campaign, she was forbidden from drinking in public or going out with men!
