Actually it's just a little a joke, but my goddess the holiday averts are on along with the sofa ads, then there's the fitness DVDs, I've seen 3 today and why are there no fitness DVDs for men? I guess the media think it's just women that want to lose weight after the festive season.

Never mind.Harrods will be opening their Christmas shop in August, as usual. Last year Father Christmas declared it open on the 4th !
The fitness machine adverts are never directed just at men.It's either the video shows a man and a woman or it shows just a woman.. Women are more concerned about their shape than men are.about theirs.
The holiday ads used to be earlier, if anything.The market has changed.People now tend to book far later,waiting for last minute deals and don't spend November planning next year's holiday.January is too soon for most.

No fitness ads for men? that's because men are not required to look like goddesses as long as they have wadges of cash and drive flash cars... women on the other hand have to look gorgeous in order to get men who have wadges of cash... its all to do with our hard-wired biology men pick best looking mates and women pick the best providers.... I am afraid its gonna take us a long while to catch up with half a million years or so of evolution of the sexes.

My local Onestop was putting out bags of Mini Eggs on Boxing Day. They now have a full Easter display (chocolate bunnies, etc) - and I've just got my first hot cross buns of the year from the Co-op
